[Troubleshooting] New GPU and Motherboard Troubles

I just received my Sapphire Radeon R9 280x and I plugged it into my motherboard and booted up and there was no reaction from monitors, they recognized no source. I removed the GPU and plugged in a monitor as normal and it works but now the Ethernet/LAN is not working. I run Win10 and I have updated drivers for Win10. I have and AsRock Z97 Pro4 motherboard and an Intel i5 4690K.
