Chapter Trading Critique Party! (Everyone's invited!)

Hey all.

I just recently finished my first major revision of my novel. Now I'm looking for some outside feedback.

However, instead of asking anonymous strangers on the internet to dive in and read 84k words. I'd like to do a trade. I will send anyone who's willing the first 5k of my story (the first chapter). In exchange, I'll be happy to read upto 5k of your work and provide feedback.

Here's a little about my story:

"Set slightly in the future, the story details the birth of a new mythological realm. This realm's birth weakens the barrier between Earth and the heavens (i.e. Elyrium). Now, a young hero is tasked with protecting Earth from an approaching horde of darkness. To do so, he will need to enter the Digital Realm and become it's protector."

Here's what I'd like...

If you have 5k of words that you'd like me to read, speak up. I don't care what they are. I'm happy to dive in and give my feedback. In exchange, I will send you chapter 1 of my novel for your feedback. If you wish to keep going past that, I will match you 5k at a time.

If you have a novel that you are also working on, I'd be happy to extend past the first exchange, chapter by chapter until both of our novels are critiqued.

How will this work?

I'm only looking for 1 or 2 people. I can't say I'd be able to read much past that in a reasonable time frame. However, if people are willing, we can use this thread to link others together.

For me, I'd prefer doing editing through google-docs due to it's very effective commenting abilities. However, I'm open to other proposals. I think a fast turn-around (2 weeks at most) would be optimal, as the longer people take, the more likely it is for momentum to be lost.
