Hello! I'd like some help with this sentence, ( I've read it in a manga)

紙媒体は今どこも厳しいね.

I'm having trouble understanding what 紙媒体 means. Btw who's saying this is having a conversation with his coworker about how the literature magazine is going to get cut.

Any help would be greatly aprecciated.
