So I just got a $400 light bill.

Fucking texas summers man.

So it's over $100 more than last month was.

Pertinents:

22 year old house. Single story. 1655 square feet

Original ac unit. Original windows.

Gf works from home. Usually keeps the thermostat on 75. But daily it registers that the house gets up to 78ish during summer.

So. Starting from lowest cost to effect ratio, what can we begin doing to help our house be more energy efficient? I'll gladly answer any other questions you may have.
