[EVENT] Lucca's churches vandalized by pagans, call for Inquisition!

It happened in the dead of night. After the builders had left, the painters had packed up their things, and the sculptors had set their tools down for the day, they had struck. So when sunlight shone down through the steeple windows, it no longer cast a halo around the effigy of the Savior, but of a crudely erected statue of Jupiter. Scaffolds were torn down, arcane scribbling marred barely dried paint, and spears plunged into the crucifix that lay on the floor.

As the teams for renovation stumbled upon this atrocity committed in their own city, word quickly spread. Soon, the majority of the City of Lucca was in an uproar as the city guard was called in to cordon off the area and begin questioning. But only one thing was on the breath of every citizen - the call for an Inquisition to root out these vandals and heathens.
