[Minor Spoilers] DBZ: Resurrection of F
So I saw the movie in theaters last night and it was a pretty decent movie. Lots of action and they brought back some characters that can be easy to forget. However one of my main issues with the movie and the series in general is how weak they've made Gohan look in the last 5-7 years of anything DBZ related they've done. I mean come on this is the kid who 420 no scoped Cell in the face and now he looks like an old man in this movie who can't find his pudding cup.
It's really annoying to see your favorite character in a series reduced to this pathetic tracksuit and glasses. :'(

Toriyama was told the Japs wanted Goku and not Gohan to be the protagonist, so he nerfed him after the Cell saga.
They made him irrelevant. He went from being a main part of the story to just an afterthought.
