"The woodpecker seems to be out of operation.But there are many other similar radar systems.One is the Australian JORN Radar.Probably the HAARP in Alaska is a radar.In the 1990s I saw a mobile (experimental) radar on a beach in Spain north of Barcelona.They had a number of simple rod antennas placed on the beach The woodpecker was unique because its pulses were audible in a radio.Other short wave radars use shorter pulses with a high repetition rate which can not be heared but only be measured."
