Undermining Archon in Vulture?

I'm flying a Vulture and with all expansions succeeding I was thinking about what to do. So I put in 16t cargo rack and went for undermining Archon for the first time because I was close. So, it actually seems it's not quite worth to do it. It takes a long time to fill up your cargo hold with those slaves and doesn't seem to give you many merits, does it? Also you're racking up that bounty in the system you're hunting in which paints a big target on you. Opinions on that? Did I get something wrong?
