Was this whole mess just a hurried re-write?

I. Marlene King told us we saw Black Veil without her mask in episode 4.19 “Shadow Play”, and Sara Harvey didn't appear until this season. (Yes, she was mentioned in season 4, about her being missing and all, but not that episode, I checked.)

Does that point to that there was done some re-writing that caused this epic shitstorm of a season finale?

Could some of the leaks have been real, and that's why they changed it last minute into this seemingly written-in-half-an-hour-half-asleep-fuck-the plot-holes-we-don't-have-time-for-that-episode?

Something just isn't right. It's like the last episode doesn't ''fit'' with the rest of the show, not because even because of the plot holes, everything was just wrong. Too rushed. Too unimaginative. Too dumb.

I literaly can't even.. Just.. What.

Anyone got any theories?

Any other lies I. Marlene King has told us? Anything else off about this ending, or things that has been said about A, Red Coat or Black Veil that doesn't fit with the ending?
