Books/series for 10 year old daughter.

Placed my daughter in adoption and she asked for books this year for her birthday. I don't have a strong beat on what is popular these days. She's reading on a middle school + level and likes Harry Potter. She also lives on a ranch so anything with horses would work too. Thanks for the help!
