Anyone else find Splice to be lacking? (Details in post)

So, I really love the idea of Splice. It can detect plugins, keep a timeline of your tracks, and make it easy to collab with friends. If you use an .flp that is! Splice does not support FL zip files at all, which is completely counterintuitive for collaborating. If I am sending my buddy a track to work on, I'm always sending it as a .zip to make sure he has all the samples needed to play it. Splice would fit into our workflow perfectly, except that it doesn't support the zips...am I missing something here? Have any of you guys had success with it?

PS to any collaborators, make sure you get teamviewer! Free remote access software, super silky
