Can't pull down notification bar

So for some reason, the notification bar suddenly doesn't want to go down when I'm in portrait mode.

My touchscreen still works at the top part of the mobile, because I've checked it on landscape mode and it receives my touch.

Still for some reason it won't pull down when its in portait. I'm running 5.1.1 and not rooted.

Many thanks for any help :)
