[Tech] Use xbox headset beside the turtle beach 800x for party chat

Hey! I've got the following sound setup. Optical goes from xbox to the 800x transmitter and from there to my logitech 906z. Sometimes i just dont want to use the 800x and switch to my 5.1 setup and use the default xbox headset connected to the controller for party chat. Problem is that as soon the 800x transmitter is powered on there is no chance to use the default headset in a party. So everytime before i join a party i have to remove the power cable from the transmitter and put it back in when i switched to party chat so the sound goes through the standard headset. Turtle beach support as usefull as everytime (sarcasm) so i ask if one of you who owns the 800x has a better solution. Thanks!
