An apology to /r/boston /r/medfordma and all concerned residents of medford and surrounding communities -
This isn't an apology on behalf of the mod team or the subreddit. It is from ME to YOU
Yesterday at the City Council meeting I provided live updates for the community via r/live . I was under the impression, both from online discussion and within the community that there would be a large turnout of people to speak out about Detective LeBert. Unfortunately my assumption was wrong. Furthermore, I was too nervous to go up and speak to the Council, I have ZERO shame admitting that. I have spoken once before infront of the council and it was nerve racking and I couldn't force myself up there again. I feel personally responsible.
This wasn't the only chance, we have more opportunities to bring this up. After I conclude this message I will speak with City Council Candidate Michael Ruggiero on organizing a better turnout for this specific topic in a coming city council meeting. I am not a public speaker (Yet?) I will be in contact with people who CAN and WILL speak about this. Once again, I apologize for not stepping up last night. However, I sincerely appreciate the turnout we had in the discussion section and live thread. You guys were noticed, and better times are ahead of us. Thank you all for your support
Sincerely
Massiswicked (Just call me rob)
