[DAI Spoilers] a question about ocularas and a question about DLC.

I think I read somewhere that you can find, in game, information about ocularas. Is that true? Where do I find that info?

2. I don't have any if the DLC (yet). Does it matter if I've beaten the game or not? I know there's no dialog with anyone after the final fight, but does anyone know if there is dialog about the DLC if you haven't completed the game? Or are they totally separate, more like Awakenings?
