Owed large refund for 2014, IRS selected our return for review, no contact, no refund yet.

Our accountant filed our tax return as usual this year and we we're due a large refund due to a bonus paid to my spouse, which was paid as W-2 income and the company withheld too much in taxes. We are due a little under 40K. We received only one letter dated May 1, LTR 4464C. It says no action is required and to contact them after 60 days if we haven't been contacted or received our refund or been contacted. Our accountant says there should be no issues with the return. When I called the IRS after hearing nothing for over 60 days, the first call the agent said it all looks fine, give it til the end of the month (last month). Accountant said to get anything they say in writing, so I called back and another agent said it may have fallen through the cracks and she submitted a form 4442 Internal referral form, which she says can take up to 45 days.

I'm on hold waiting again today, is there anything I can do to speed up getting my refund?
