Does anybody else like to play on Nomad mode?

I find that the placement of your first town center can have a huge impact on how the rest of the game plays out, so I like to position it myself rather than start in a fixed location. I also like the challenge of exploring for a while to find the perfect spot, versus getting things underway so you don't fall behind.
