Ram upgrade problem

So I recently purchased a second set of Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb ram sticks to allow my computer to have 16gb of ram. When I installed these my computer goes into a boot loop where I can't access the bios or Windows. I have tried taking out the mobo battery and resetting the cmos jumper but it still puts me in a boot loop and I don't know what to do at this point. Thank you for your help
