What's better? Being patient but not tolerant, or being tolerant but not patient?
My patience is limitless, but i lack tolerance. I guess the two should be in balance, but i have a hard time finding any purpose for being tolerant. When i see someone for the first time, i'm overrun by impressions before he/she even starts talking, and later those impressions all prove to be right. Some might say this is a gift of recognizing other's nature, but im not sure if it is a good thing. Is it?
edit1: Should i tell more about myself? I feel like a weirdo. I was born into a christian familiy, everyone i know is christian, so i can't really compare what's normal on a global level and what's not. For like a year i had several dreams with riddles to solve (should i go into details?) and morals to live by. Also I'm usually getting answers when i ask things from "myself(?)" about what's right, and what's next. Thus i found that Taoism is the religion which's principles are the closest to my "way" of living. I still have other riddles in process, and relevant goals to achieve before i could progress. What i'm mostly missing is the "peer review" or some feedback that i'm on kind of a good way to enlightenment, or just someone to confirm that i'm not crazy or whatever :)
