[DIPLOMACY] Israel pressures India to limit ties with Iran

Israel and India have, for a long time, shared a very close relationship. Facing similar enemies and similar situations, military cooperation has proved extremely effective and valuable to both nations. Scientific and technological cooperation has also helped to improve these industries in both countries. Trade between Israel and India is worth billions, and Indians are more sympathetic to Israel than people from any other country.

Increased ties between Iran and India therefore trouble us greatly. The lives of Israelis are constantly threatened by Hamas and Hezbollah, organisations that would not be able to survive without backing from Iran. By cooperating with Iran, India is indirectly putting Israel at risk. While we do not expect India to cut all ties with Iran, we will apply diplomatic pressure on India to cut all military ties, both in terms of strategic cooperation and the sale of military hardware. Israel's friendship with India is greatly beneficial to both nations, and we therefore trust that you will not ignore our pressure.
