Why did Dolarhyde see Reba as the 'woman clothed in sun'

When I first saw the scene from last week's episode where Francis sees Reba as the 'woman clothed in sun' as they're having sex, I just assumed it was trying to depict her being some sort of angelic, holy figure to him. But looking more into the actual painting it was based on (plus what Hannibal said about it), the woman clothed in sun is some representation of the virgin Mary, with the Red Dragon being Satan, trapping her. I actually like this because, if we're to believe Hannibal is some form of the Devil, it creates an interesting comparison between Hannibal's and Dolarhyde's incarnations of evil. What I'm confused about is, if Dolarhyde sees himself as the Red Dragon, why is Reba the Woman Clothed in Sun? The message I took from their relationship is that it's about two lonely, outcasted people connecting, but if Francis and Reba each play these roles from the painting, then they wouldn't feel any love connection at all, but would instead be adversaries. Do you think Dolarhyde is trapping Reba? Was that scene depicting Reba as something other than the Woman Clothed in Sun?

If you have insider info from the books, please just say something along the lines of "you'll find out" or "it will be explained." I haven't read any of the books and would rather not have a major development spoiled!
