How do you go in public and not get games spoiled?

My kids have soccer games on Sundays and there is always some people there that announce changes to the Browns score loudly and it ticks me off because I am recording it at home. Then my wife becomes mad because it is unreasonable for me to expect people won't be talking about the Browns Then I get mad at her for getting mad. The only solutions I can think of is to wear noise cancelling headphones, stand by myself, and refuse to look at other parents. Go Browns!
