Finding a job online
I've applied to numerous jobs online over the past few months and secured several interviews. I often get told at the end of the interview that their are still more candidates to interview and sometimes am told that it will be 3-4 weeks before I hear anything. Is this typical for competitive jobs to interview people this long? I feel like my chances are slim and often don't hear back from the employers that do this.
Is there a way I can screen to find employers that will follow a strict and fast timeline? Also, are interested employers willing to wait that long if the right candidate comes along (several weeks)?
