The love of my life asked me out on a bus.

We had been busing together for almost two months. We had never talked-- just sat quietly beside each other for each ride.

One day, he got off at my stop and asked if he could give me his phone number (he says it took him a while to work up the edge to do that). I'm a fairly introverted person so I usually find myself turning down new people who try to reach out. Around the time, though, I was pretty sick of that habit and thought that I should just take a chance and see what happens. Two years later, we're extremely happy together and are still going strong.

I just want to encourage people to go ahead and take that leap (even if the setting doesn't seem appropriate :P) because it may just be your best move yet.
