[META]/r/Recipes we need your feedback on a rule change for bloggers posting recipes.

Hi community,

We’re coming to you to get opinions on the best way to handle bloggers posting recipes from their blogs. For a while we did not allow blogging posts and the community did not like that. So we allowed blogging posts with the addition the recipe is included in the post. However, we still get request to not allow blog post. Next, we tried to limit how many post can be from a blog for a user. When we did that we saw a decrease in quality recipe postings and users unsubscribing.

Here are a few proposals:

• Allow bloggers to post but require the recipe is included in the post
• Limit the amount of post bloggers can post to X number a week
• Do not allow bloggers to post at all

Currently we’re asking for feedback from r/recipes. If we do not get a good amount of feedback the mod team will decide the best approach to this.
