Lens advice for d7100 body. Camera advice also. D7100 or Sony a77 m2?

I will be recording and taking pictures. Close ups and distant. Need some advice, if I should buy the stock 18-55 Nikon, or anything other you guys advice me on. Thanks.

Also, is the d7100 worth it over the Sony a77 m2?
