[US] [0-200] In need of a field recorder

Hi,

I'm trying to record some ambient audio in the countryside and I'm looking for a mic or field recorder. I need to record from 6 PM to 6 AM, so either something that can record for a while, or something that can plug into an audio interface (which I already have) and record directly to some software.

I'm thinking of getting something like the Zoom H4N or the Tascam DR40, but if anyone has better advice it would be much appreciated.
