What about a bi-directional bike lane on Charles Street?

I bike to work every day down Charles Street, and every day I'm boggled by the number of idiots biking down Charles Street against traffic. Thinking about it, it's a wide enough street - would Boston ever consider implementing a bi-directional bike lane like they have in Montreal? If people are going to do this shit anyway, they might as well do it safely, and it's not like Charles Street would really suffer for loss of one traffic lane - it's never jam packed even at rush hour.
