I recently ordered Mountain Lion from apple
I have a three year old imac, and I want to use a program that requires a min of 10.8.
So I buy Mountain Lion from Apple for $20. On the site it states 24 hours for email delivery.
I know companies have to state a wait time. But it's very rare for me to wait longer than a few hours for an online code for downloading something.
It's now been 24 hours, and still no code/download. So I write chat and find out that it's actually 24 business hours, which is something I've never heard of in my life. And that the code has to be hand-made so that it's not duplicating another users code.
I'm genuinely curious how this process cannot be faster. How can the process of creating a code for an outdated OS not be automated?
