Vision blurry, Optometrist says eyes are fine.

43, male, 6'4", 220 lbs., whiteboy, especially bad ~4 months, left eye.

I'm having trouble focusing when reading or trying to see something small close up (e.g. figuring out why the key wouldn't fit into the ignition.)

I've been to the eye doc, and she said my eyes are fine, suggested I try +.75 readers. Rocking +1.0, still can't focus sometimes. The thing is, there are times when my left eye cannot focus without significant effort, which cannot be sustained through a work day. The left eye feels smaller. Leisure reading is out, too frustrating. Floaters are significant.

Chances are, I'm just getting old, but if anybody has flags go up, I'd like to have something to address specifically. Thanks!
