Screen flashing during Valkyrie class gameplay

So, I'm really thinking about fully switching to Valkyrie, yet I have one big gripe, or am thinking it is one. Thing is this, I'm using the upgraded shield throw skill, which stays in the air, spinning. During that spinning, the screen constantly flashes brightly, which is tiring me down pretty fast. Anyone has an idea on what setting to turn off, to get rid of that effect? I'm usually playing on High settings, but just tried if turning it down to "Optimization mode" would help. Conclusion: It doesn't. After playing a tamer earlier, I have all those flashy combat camera effects already turned off.

Update: All Valkyrie skills make the screen flash. Just that spinning shield throw doing it like mad.
