Can Kanai's Cube change an armor piece to a weapon piece from the same set?

Just wondering if something like that was possible? Searched google but to no avail ( wording of the search might have been terrible but i tried a bunch of times and got nothing).

i.e putting in a helmet from IK set and getting the Boulder Breaker from the same set?
