Returning player: Couple of Questions

1. I am training my character for small ships at them moment, is there any reason to train cruisers or battlecruisers early on if farming isk isn't an issue? I'm holding on to a bit of isk from years ago, not a heap of it, but a few bil goes a long way when you're flying frigates.

2. My account is from 2008 or something, but I don't have my original character which I sold before I quit. Is a much younger character on an older account the kind of red-flag that would keep me from being recruited into a new player corp or not? I'm certainly not competent enough to join a vet. corp at this point.

3. Karmafleet and Pandemic Horde seem are my top picks for a new home. Which one would you choose between the two of them and why? Or what is the difference between the two?

TIA
