One of the reasons why I love the show is that it's applicable to teenagers and adults alike.

Lorelei has always had a bumpy relationship with her parents. In this episode her father, Richard, spends the day with her. He watches how she spends her day and consistently provides unnecessary and uncalled for comments. Lorelei takes it until she blew up towards the end of the episode.

I'm about Lorelei's age and I had the same exact conversation with my parents not too long ago. My mother came over my apartment and I asked her to do something, instead of doing it she started to tell me why she shouldn't do it. I kinda blew up and told her that this is my apartment and that she should do as she's told. It's not a suggestion, just do it. This is how I run my household.
