Shea Moisture for straight hair?

I've been looking for a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner for my purple hair. I've used Shea Moisture body products and loved them and have been looking into trying their hair products. My hair is thick, straight, and dry. I know that Shea Moisture hair products are usually marketed towards curly hair but I was wondering if anyone else with straight hair has tried them? I would also love some recommendations on drug store sulfate free shampoos and conditioners!
