Just had my first sip of whisky & it was out of this world!

M[33] & I just had my first sip of whisky & it was out of this world & I just had to share this!!! The last time I had a drink was 10 years ago

Took a whiff first & it made my head spin a little.

Took a first neat sip & I was surprised by the abundance of flavor... felt my throat burning a little later but tasted good!

Now trying it with some coke (drink) & it tastes amazing! I'm just surprised by it because I've just never liked beer a lot & disliked wine too... or maybe I've just been drinking the cheap stuff... but this whisky stuff is just amazing! For those who want to know, I'm drinking an Indian brand called signature (I don't really know how good it's considered to be, it was the only one available), I wanted to try Vat 69 but it wasn't available at my local store. What other brand of whisky would you recommend?

Is there something that I should know while drinking whisky to enhance the experience? How do you like having it? What do you think I should try next?
