[Build Help] Upgrading XPS 8300 Video Card & +2GB of ram

I want to upgrade my XPS 8300 with the current specs:

• 6GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM (2x2GB,&1x2GB)
• i5 2300 @ 2.8ghz
• HDD 1TB 7200RPM Hitachi Jumper
• No video card, using integrated graphics Intel Graphics HD 2000 *460 w Dell Power Supply

My ram upgrade I want to use: 4GB Dell Memory Upgrade My video card I want to use: EVGA 750 Ti SC

What I'm using the system for: Minecraft(and modded) while having stuff open like

• Skype
• Chrome (4+ Tabs) (Redditing, Youtubing)
• File Explorer
• Sticky Notes
• and slight developer programs like Putty, Filezilla, etc.

Thoughts: The video card might be overkill, please suggest one that is right for me and works with a 460w power supply.
