How to quickly lay in timecoded text layers in Premiere?

I have a timecoded transcript for a few hours of interviews. I'd like to quickly turn them into text layers at each timecode in Premiere.

In FCP7 I could do this with Inqscribe and an XML.

Forum posts are making it sound like there's no way to do this in Premiere.

Anyone have a workaround?
