just moved into a new place and already want to leave...
okay i may just be being rash but i moved into a coworker's friend's place because my dad was moving out of his apartment where I had been living. I felt this was the best option because A. I have enough room for my shit B. There's a yard for my dog C.Its in my favorite part of town. Now that I've moved in I realize how much I hate sharing a bathroom and how inconvenient it is not to mention sharing it with guys. I just dont feel at home here, feel like i cant go out to the kitchen to make food without bothering anyone or use the restroom when i need to without bothering anyone, etc. but I dont know that that's a valid judgement because I literally just moved in and maybe im just not comfortable around them yet.
They're nice enough guys but I just feel like the entire time I'll feel like I either need to just be by myself in my room, hurry back and forth to use the bathroom, and just wont feel comfortable enough ever to make myself at home. I dont want to be rash, and definitely know I need to give it a month at least to see how things go. I just would love anyone who's been in a similar situation to give me any advice? FYI Im on a month to month deal with the people I'm living with but somehow I still feel rude moving out after a month and also dont want anyone else to feel im crazy for doing so. I just underestimated how much I love having my own bathroom I guess and am kind of embarrassed I didn't realize that beforehand. I just dont know if its worth it to me to stay there if I can easily find another place with my own bathroom or at least a bathroom I share only with girls.
also, they're not okay with my dog being out when im gone in case he were to have an accident and they seem annoyed when i ask if they'll let him out when im at work or out if they're home. i asked beforehand if they would be okay with this and they all said yes, but when i left for work today they asked if id put him in my room, the exact opposite of what i expected moving in the house, they said he'd be free to roam as he pleased. I spend the night a few nights a week at my boyfriend's and cant bring my dog so I need roommates that understand and dont mind looking after my dog when im gone, which is something id be more than happy to do for them.
Thanks so much!
