Edit: Kudos to Sam for bringing up the Thalidomide Babies, any living today must be over 40's, many lives crippled by the crassest example of profit at any cost. IIRC, there was a recent attempt to bring Thalidomide back on market.

The IM-er was right, accent on the LID, though I dislike these pseudo names made-up by PR flacks, this is one to never forget.
