I'd like to play a character who recently discovers that he has some basic mental telepathy abilities. The abilities will be due to reading an old dusty book left to me in a will by a rich, unknown great-uncle. As the last surviving member of the family, his estate home, his wealth, and all his belongings pass to me. That's the background. I'd like start out by moving into the estate. Since I am new to town, maybe I meet you at a coffee shop or a local bookstore. I could either be reading the book from my great-uncle in the coffee shop, or I could be requesting some information about the book at the bookstore. It's pretty obvious that I am new to this small town and you take an interest in getting to know the new stranger that just moved into the old recluse's mansion outside of town. This is just an idea to start from. We can develop it more as we go. None of this is set in stone, I just like the idea and want to explore!
