Wife pregnant after 2 weeks of Marriage!

I don't know what to say. Married in mid July, did it once without protection a week later, and on the 9th August she got a positive on the test kit.

Before this I always used a condom, telling my wife that anytime I didn't use one there was a chance of getting her pregnant. This time I hate to be right!

We both knew that there was a small chance of this happening but never expected to strike the Jackpot. My Wife's last period was in late June. She tends to have unpredictable periods.

She got really excited when she got a positive on the test kit, but I didn't react as enthusiastically, and this made her a little upset. She really loves kids and cannot wait to have one, but we discussed this before and we planned to start "making" our first child after our wedding dinner next July.

The first thing that came to my mind was how my wedding plans got screwed up, about how we didn't get a year together as just husband and wife. The last few days, all I have been thinking about is how I am going to be a father soon. Until now it still feels like a dream to us.

She is so excited about it that she has already told around 10 of her friends and some relatives. I'm a little upset about this because I've been trying to tell her to keep it to ourselves for a month or 2. Our parents do not know yet.

I am 27 this year, but I've never felt so old up till now. After reading this subreddit, it looks like I'll be in for some sleepless nights, and butt wiping next April. Omg, I am so lost!
