Why not adapt heart rate monitoring into the new VR standard input
I was measuring my heart rate on phone like I like to do from time to time to remind myself I am in reality jk.
Then it came to me it would be cool and possibly handy and maybe one day life saving jk on life saving in VR.
What do you guys think would it be worth it to have your rate being monitor be the VR app/game? The input could change story or game play based off your heart rate and maybe turn off VR if heart gets to high or to a certain threshold.
Also if it was built into VR so every headset would have it then we could measure heart rates for stats and whatever.
Our PC's computers/wearables are using our bio data at some point why not start now.
This is not really new just thought I would post it.
VR is will be taking all of or most of our physical input with motion controls and hmd itself
Ok Oculus and Valve and I guess Sony, PUT a heart rate monitor in your controller if it is doable.
Edit: at the point I think this would be a CV2, CV3 feature in COulsu or Vive or whoever is making VR HMD's in the future
