Move Out Deposit Questions

Hi all, just moved out of an apartment and I have a few questions about the deposit. I'm curious what your experience is.

I left the apartment in excellent shape, paid to have it cleaned. This is in a nicer building downtown. The week after moving out my landlord proposed that I pay for $300 in paint touch ups (I did very little if ANY paint damage, this was leftover from the last tenant and noted in my original walk through). He also requested $350 to clean the AC Coil. I'll admit I did not realize I needed to change the filter on here regularly, and that cost seems accurate, but should I be on the hook for that cost? And then asked for $150 for cleaning even though I already had it cleaned.

I emailed back about the paint issue and then he emailed back asking for $600 for paint (half of $1200 to repaint the apartment). But he did not mention the $350 for the AC coil in this email. And again asked for the $150 cleaning fee and mentioned items were left behind (there was an ironing board left from the last tenants and and some kitchen items left under the sink from the last tenants).

And then he asked for an offer. Is it generally a negotiation here? I'm a calm civil person, just looking to get this done with fairly. Curious about others experience.
