"He'll be ready soon" - A short FNaF story

I wasn't quite sure if it was a good idea. Animatronics had injured children before, what will stop them from doing it again? But I had already spent a lot of money on this franchise. If I stopped here, I could go bankrupt.

As much as I wanted to stop the development for the animatronics, I couldn't. I needed the money too much.

I managed to convince myself that they wouldn't do anything. "Technology has gotten better" I would say, "Surely its advancement can stop it from biting someone again."

But no matter how much I convinced myself, the tension was killing me. I wanted them to be ready now, so that I would know if they were safe.

And so, to calm myself, I would keep repeating "He'll be ready soon" over and over.
