Studying after 7 hours of language instruction

I'm currently at DLI studying Arabic. We do 7 hours per day of classroom instruction, plus 1-2 hours of homework. My question is, how should I study after classes? I don't want to waste my time studying in a way that won't allow more information to sink in after a full day of Arabic instruction. Were expected to learn roughly 30 words per day, which might increase later on in the course. I'm already using Quizlet, is there a better way to study vocabulary?
