If you had to survive as long as possible with only one article of clothing, what would it be?

You should try to be able to survive all terrains/ environments, including, cities, the dessert, jungle, forest. Everything. What do you choose? You may only get one thing. If you picks shoes, you get nothing else, not even socks, if you pick a shirt, you get nothing else, if you choose pants, no underwear etc.
