[NeedAdvice] Creating a workflow to setting and achieving goals
I need advice on how to help people set their goals. With so many goals and variations to goals out there, it's hard to create a template for every person to follow. I created a guide that's interactive on desktop (static version for mobile) that walks through the process for setting any goal and planning the steps it would take to achieve it. Here's what I have so far (you can see the current version below too):
1 - Define your end goal 2 - Identify potential obstacles 3 - Does your goal seem reasonable? (re-evaluate) 4 - Create a workspace 5 - Set checkpoints 6 - Execute steps in order 7 - Evaluate your progress (periodic analysis of your progress and plan) 8 - End of goal duration evaluation (did you accomplish it?) 9 - Goal completed (with a fun little gif I made)
Extra step: 10 - let people know you reached your goal (studies have found that praise and boosted self-esteem encourage greater success)
Any feedback on how I could improve this while still making it applicable to a wide variety of goals would be great! I want this to be a tool people can use when working/preparing to achieve something they've been wanting to do for an extended period of time.
