Anyone know anything about the canoe rental guy at Alton Baker?

Was leaving the park last weekend on a Saturday and saw a truck parked with a bunch of canoes on top of it, with a sign for canoe rentals. Sounds like fun, but I don't know when he is there or what the rates are. Before I make a trip out there just to check, I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has more information.
