Last Punchbag Sid sighting?

As the title reads, does anyone know the last time Punchbag Sid was in the battledome? I'm hoping that whenever he does show up again, the sub will post an alert thread so that I don't miss it, but I don't know whether I should be on the lookout any time soon.

How often does he appear anyway? I read somewhere that he only shows up maybe once or twice a year for 15/20 minutes. Is that still true?
